Course Overview
Al Balagh Classical Arabic - Level 2 course, based on fus-ha dialect (dialect of the Quran), is for learners with basic prior knowledge of Arabic. The course aims to take students with fundamental experience of studying the language to an intermediate level of understanding. It provides an introduction to Arabic grammar to develop grasp on beginner’s Arabic vocabulary, which shows up throughout the Quran and classical Islamic textbooks, but is not limited to that. Students will gain the foundational knowledge required for one to fully understand, translate and summarise the Qur’anic verses and classical texts. Students will also get to learn the ancient form of Arabic that is eloquent, crisp, articulative and rich in poetry.
This course will incorporate relevant contemporary Arabic prose and traditions texts. Students will learn how to speak, write, read and apply the Arabic language in their day-to-day lives.
This specialised course will enable students to achieve an in-depth grasp and understanding of the dynamics of the Arabic language, with its associated grammatical roots, The students will learn about formation of sentences, the relation of different elements to each other, and how these relations affect the meaning from qualified and renowned Muslim scholars and academics. The course will be delivered through proficient Arabic language teaching methodology, incorporating competent online technology to a small class size of limited students.

- Elementary rules of grammar and syntax (nahw and sarf).
- Learn the ancient form of Arabic that is eloquent, crisp, articulative and rich in poetry.

- Elementary sentences and prose of Classical Arabic.
- Translation and better understanding of the Qur’anic text.

- Small Class Size: Each class will consist of not more than 30 students, giving lecturers enough time to give each student proper attention and guidance.

- Native Arabs Lecturers: Students will get the opportunity to practice under the guidance of native Arab teachers.
- Segregated classes: There will be segregated speaking practice classes for brothers and sisters with dedicated Brothers-only and Sisters-only lecturers.
There will be a graded final exam at the end of each level, and students will receive a certificate after the successful completion of each level.
Upon the successful completion of the four levels of the Mastering Arabic Course, students will be awarded:
